Manchester: Raja Muhammad Akmal, the elder brother of senior Pakistani journalist Naqeeb Raja in the UK, has passed away in Manchester at the age of 46. His funeral prayers will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:15 pm, at Jamia Masjid Noorul Islam Bury

The late Raja Izhar Akmal was the father of Zain Akmal, Ahyan Akmal and two daughters.
He was the biological brother of the late Master Muhammad Iqbal, Raja Naeem Amjad, Raja Muhammad Najeeb, Raja Muhammad Jamal, Raja Muhammad Naqeeb, Raja Muhammad Khalid and two sisters.
We pray to Allah to grant the deceased a high place in Paradise
and grant patience and a great reward to all the family members.
