Dawn Exclusive interview: Controller of Examinations Dr. Rana Naveed Azmat announces the results of the Sahiwal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Intermediate Annual Examinations 2025 and the names of the position holders.

Student Isha Shafiq secured first position, Usman Mahmood secured second position, and Zunira Tariq secured third position.

Sahiwal: Sahiwal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2025 and the names of the position holders. Secretary Board Professor Chaudhry Fayyaz Saleemi, Director Development and Finance Shafiq Ahmed Dogar were also present on the occasion. Controller Examinations Dr. Rana Naveed Azmat, while announcing the position, said that 43239 students participated in the intermediate examinations, out of which 25460 succeeded, and thus the success ratio was 58.88 percent, which was 55.31 percent last year. Overall in the board, Isha Shafiq, a student of DPS College Okara, secured the first position by securing 1152 marks. Similarly, Usman Mahmood, a student of DPS College Okara, secured second position with 1151 marks and Zunira Tariq, a student of Punjab College for Girls, Pakpattan, secured third position with 1150 marks. In the pre-medical group (boys), Usman Mahmood, a student of DPS College Okara, secured first position with 1151 marks, Muhammad Daniyal, a student of Zakariya Higher Secondary School, Arifwala, secured second position with 1146 marks, while Muhammad Abdullah Shahid of DPS College Okara and Muhammad Asad Bin Akram of Obaidullah Educational Complex Higher Secondary School, Pakpattan secured third position with 1145 marks. Among the pre-medical girls, Isha Shafiq of DPS College, Okara, secured first position with 1152 marks, Zunira Tariq of Punjab College, Pakpattan, secured second position with 1150 marks, while Areeba Fatima of Punjab College for Girls, Sahiwal, secured third position with 1149 marks. In the pre-engineering group, Ahmed Raza of Punjab College near Abdullah Hospital, Okara, and Muhammad Shahzeb of DPS Sahiwal secured first position with 1140 marks, Muhammad Zeeshan of Punjab College, Sahiwal, secured second position with 1128 marks, and Muhammad Qasim Ghazanfar of DPS Sahiwal secured third position with 1127 marks. In the pre-engineering girls, Maimuna Urooj and Mah Noor of Punjab College for Women, Okara, secured first and second position with 1146 and 1121 marks respectively, while Ramin Fatima, a student of DPS Sahiwal, secured third position with 1120 marks. In the general science group, Muhammad Ali Haider, a student of ILM College Haveli Lakha, Depalpur, secured first position with 1121 marks, Ibtihaj Muhammad of Punjab College, Okara and Muhammad Umar, a student of Kapis College Chichawatni, secured second position with 1120 marks, and Muhammad Afrasiab Asif of Zakariya School, Arifwala, secured third position with 1115 marks. Among the female students of General Science, Barrera of Government Graduate College Sahiwal secured first position with 1149 marks, Aruba Qadir of Punjab College Sahiwal secured second position with 1147 marks, while Noor Fatima, a student of The New Educators College Chichawatni, secured third position with 1139 marks. In the Humanities group, Shafiq Ahmed, a student of The Apex College, Basirpur, secured first position with 1077 marks, Abu Bakar of Government Higher Secondary School Okara secured second position with 1061 marks, and Zia Islam of Punjab College Depalpur secured third position with 1059 marks. Similarly, among the female students, Rizwana Aslam of Ilam College, Deepalpur, secured first position with 1117 marks, Rameen of Sahiwal College of the Educators and Rabia Bakhsh of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mirdad, secured second position with 1115 marks, and Maryam Banin, a student of Cambridge College for Women, Pakpattan, secured third position with 1113 marks. He congratulated the successful students.
