Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has said that we are proud of the talent of our province, which not only highlights the soft image of the province with its achievements but is also increasing the honor and dignity of the country and nation.
He expressed these views while addressing the “Fakhr-e-Pakhtunkhwa Awards 2025” ceremony held at the Governor’s House, Peshawar, on Saturday as a special guest. The ceremony was attended by Member of Provincial Assembly Nisar Baz, Chairman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent Society Farzand Ali Wazir, Jamshed Khan, Dr. Hamza Jamshed, Nabeel Afridi, Haji Wahdat Khan, political and social figures, artists, doctors, engineers, poets and writers, and personalities from different walks of life. On this occasion, the Governor addressed the departments of education, medicine, engineering, sports, politics, and journalism. 60 youth were also awarded the Fakhr-e-Pakhtunkhwa Award for their outstanding skills and services in various fields, including advocacy, peace, literature, police, music, and social activities.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa welcomed the distinguished personalities who have shown outstanding performance in various fields to the Governor’s House and said that the “Fakhr-e-Pakhtunkhwa Awards” are actually a beautiful way to pay tribute to talented and hardworking personalities. He said that sharing successes and happiness further increases them, and such events play an important role in highlighting the positive and peaceful image of the province.
