Provincial Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan attended the annual convocation of Mohiuddin Islamic University, Nerian Sharif Mirpur Campus and Medical College, presided over by Dr. Sultan-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui Al-Azhari

Mirpur: Provincial Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan attended the annual convocation of Mohiuddin Islamic University, Nerian Sharif, Mirpur Campus and Medical College.
The convocation was presided over by the Chancellor of Mohiuddin Islamic University and Medical College, Allama Dr. Pir Sultan-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui Al-Azhari.

Former President of Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan, former Prime Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Vice Chancellor Lieutenant General (retd) Asif Mumtaz Sukhera also attended.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan said that the public should also pay tribute to the religious and worldly services of prominent spiritual and academic figures, Sheikh Alam Pir Alauddin Siddiqui and Allama Pir Sultan-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui Al-Azhari, for their professional services in the private sector. He congratulated the students graduating from this institution and said that they will make the country and nation famous by rendering their professional services in their own country as well as in foreign countries. Referring to the atrocities being committed by India on the unarmed Kashmiris in the Indian-occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir, he said that the series of extremism that India is starting against the Kashmiris will definitely be repaid and the day is not far when the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir will become independent and become a part of Pakistan. He expressed these views while addressing the annual convocation of Mohiuddin Islamic University, Nerian Sharif, Mirpur Campus, and Medical College as the chief guest. The convocation was presided over by the Chancellor of Mohiuddin Islamic University and Medical College, Allama Dr. Pir Sultan-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui Al-Azhari, while former President of Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan, former Prime Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi, and Vice Chancellor Lieutenant General (retd) Asif Mumtaz Sukhera, also addressed the ceremony. On this occasion, Chancellor of Mohiuddin Islamic University and Medical College, Allama Dr. Pir Sultan-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui Al-Azhari, distributed medals and degrees among the students who completed MBBS, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical and other medical courses. After the hymns and naats, the national anthems of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir were presented in the colorful convocation ceremony. The ceremony was attended by political, social and religious figures, parents of students and civil society figures.
Chancellor of Mohiuddin Islamic University and Medical College, Allama Dr. Pir Sultan-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui Al-Azhari, while addressing the gathering, said that all the sciences that are emerging in the world were mentioned in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago. He said that we have to come out of the traditional and realistic environment and serve humanity by fulfilling all the requirements of the Quran and Hadith. The field of medicine is a profession of serving the suffering humanity and it is the responsibility of every individual associated with this profession not to miss a single moment in rendering their professional services. He said that for advancement to the highest positions of the country, nation, and government, it is necessary that every individual should get higher education; without knowledge, the country and nation cannot progress. He said that only a PhD holder can become a member of the assembly in the Egyptian assembly. He said that such a tradition should also be followed in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir so that Pakistan becomes a superpower of the world in the race for development. He expected the medical graduates to make service to humanity their motto in the practical field and continue the journey of serving the suffering humanity regardless of color or race.
