Islamabad: PTI protest; Security tightened outside Parliament, PTI members of the assembly were also stopped, armored vehicles were brought, the red zone completely closed

Islamabad: In view of the protest of PTI parliamentarians, a heavy contingent of police was deployed at the gate of Parliament House, while the main gate was also closed.

Armored vehicles were brought outside the Parliament Gate, while the Islamabad Red Zone was completely closed. A heavy contingent of police is gathered at Radio Pakistan Chowk, and the Constitution Highway from Radio Pakistan Chowk has been completely closed.

The police are not allowing any citizens or members of the assembly to go to Parliament House. The police stopped members of the assembly, Iqbal Afridi and Umair Niazi, at Radio Pakistan Chowk.

While speaking to the media, Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai stated that our sit-in will be peaceful, and the founder of PTI should be allowed to meet his personal physician and family.
