60 contracts worth 33 billion riyals in the military and defense sectors in the third edition of the World Defense Show 2026 in the Saudi capital Riyadh

Riyadh: 60 contracts worth 33 billion riyals were signed in the military and defense sectors in the third edition of the World Defense Show 2026 in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
At the end of the five-day World Defense Show, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Owahli, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries and Chairman of the exhibition, told a press briefing that “1,486 exhibitors from 89 countries participated in the event, while 513 government delegations from 121 countries were present.”
The number of visitors to the exhibition was more than 137,000. The expo area was 272,500 square meters, which was 58 percent more than the first edition.

It should be noted that in the third edition of the World Defense Show, the Saudi Military Industries Company ‘Sami’ also set up its own pavilion, which covered 3,000 square meters.

The pavilion had 6 stalls where more than 60 national products were presented.

The group and its subsidiaries signed 25 strategic agreements and memorandums of understanding in the fields of aviation, ground systems, advanced electronics, unmanned systems, weapons and supply chain.
