Political reporter, Daily Dawn, Dawn TV report

London: US forces are planning to seize Iranian oil tankers and commercial ships; this possibility is expressed by Dr. Akhtar Gulfam, editor-in-chief of the most widely published newspaper of the air Nawa-i-Waqt, English newspaper Dawn, London, OK TV, and Dawn TV Director of News, while giving an exclusive interview to Dawn TV.

The situation regarding the Strait of Hormuz is changing very rapidly, and this uncertainty has deepened concerns about the end of the war on a global scale.

According to Dr. Akhtar Gulfam, editor-in-chief of the UK’s most widely published newspaper, Dawn London, and director of news for OK TV and Dawn TV, the US military is preparing to intercept Iranian-linked oil tankers in international waters in the next few days and board them to seize commercial vessels.

A report in the Wall Street Journal said that US officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that this possible action could be taken against ships believed to be linked to Iran.

However, this report could not be immediately independently verified, while the US did not deny or confirm it, and Iran has not yet responded.

It should be noted that today, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced that it would close the Strait of Hormuz again and take it under its strictest surveillance.

Iran says that the US has blocked the Iranian Navy in violation of the war agreement, in response to which it closed the Strait of Hormuz.

It should be noted that the Strait of Hormuz is a vital sea route through which about a fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) passes.

The closure of this route has led to a shortage of petroleum products in the world and skyrocketed prices, leading to a flood of inflation.
