Beijing: Pakistan defeated China 2-0 in the U-18 Hockey Asia Cup match to reach the semi-finals.
Shahbaz Hassan and Hanzala Ali scored goals for Pakistan. Pakistan was leading 1-0 at half-time.
Pakistan’s Hassan Shahbaz scored a goal in the 11th minute to give the team a one-goal lead, Hanzala scored the second goal for Pakistan in the third quarter to further consolidate the position.
The Pakistani team won the first position in its pool without losing any match after playing four matches. Now Pakistan will play Malaysia in the semi-finals, while Japan and Bangladesh will compete.
