London: The 46th Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession was organized by Darul Uloom Qadri Jailani in the London Borough of Waltham Forest after the passing of Pir Abdul Qadir Jailani. In which thousands of people participated. The procession was led by Ali Imam Jilani, son of Pir Abdul Qadir Jilani; Pir Mazhar Shah, Chairman of Muslim Friends of Labour; Shaukat Ali; former Mayor Liaquat Ali; and others. The procession passed through various streets of Waltham Forest and ended at Darul Uloom Qadria Jilania. The procession was attended by eminent scholars, thinkers, religious scholars, and others from Pakistan, Europe, and Britain. As the procession passed through various streets, white and non-religious people watched in amazement and made videos of it. They kept asking why these thousands of people were celebrating, so people distributed pamphlets on this occasion and told that this is the birth day of our Prophet, which we are celebrating. On this occasion, the Naat Khwan was reciting the Naat of Rasool Maqbool (peace be upon him), while eminent scholars and prominent personalities including Choori Shaukat Ali, Choori Liaquat Ali, Councilor Haider Ali, Councilor Usman Ali and others were present. When I asked an official from the police force making the arrangements how many people were participating in the procession, he said that we will be in a position to tell exactly at the end of the procession, but my idea is that thousands of people are participating. There were food and drink stalls, water, ice cream, sweets, and other stalls along the route of the procession, which were being distributed free of charge to the people. A large number of women were also present in the procession. Apart from this, children and the elderly were also present on a bus with the procession. It seemed as if it was Eid and people were enjoying it.
