London: Kashmiris and Pakistanis protested against India in London. Protesters marched from 10 Downing Street to the Indian High Commission, raising anti-India slogans.
The protesters strongly condemned the Modi government’s human rights violations in Kashmir and demanded that the United Nations send peacekeeping forces to occupied Kashmir.
The protesters demanded that the Kashmiri people be given the right to self-determination, that the Indian government immediately withdraw the abrogation of Article 370, and that India’s usurpation of Kashmiris will not be tolerated any longer.
Women, children and the elderly participated in the demonstration in large numbers. The protesters had Pakistani and Kashmiri flags, banners and placards in their hands.
On this occasion, speakers said that the Modi government had violated the promises of Nehru and Patel, and the measures of August 5 made the Kashmir issue the center of global attention.
The protesters said that the British government should implement the UN resolutions, Kashmiris have been suffering oppression for 72 years, and the international community should play its role in this regard.
The protesters said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan, the struggle for freedom will continue, India is making a mockery of democracy and human rights.
