Oslo: A Pakistani footballer has disappeared from Oslo during the Norway Cup. Muslim Hands footballer Amanullah Rauf Baloch went missing on the first day.
The footballer who was going to participate in the Norway Cup Street Football Championship disappeared in Oslo. Amanullah Rauf Baloch, a footballer from Islamabad’s street children’s team, went missing on the first day after reaching Norway.
Sources say that the local police have been informed about the disappearance of Amanullah Baloch, who belongs to the Lyari area of Karachi. Moreover, the Pakistani embassy in Norway has also been informed of all the details, while all the details have also been provided to the relevant responsible authorities of Pakistan.
Sources say that the missing footballer did not participate in the Under-15 Boys event. The Street Children team, under the world-renowned charity organization Muslim Hands, participated in the event. Last year, Amanullah represented the local team in the Norway Cup.
It is worth mentioning that three teams from Pakistan participated in the Norway Cup, while the team that received a special grant of Rs. 18.4 million from the Sindh government was unable to participate in the event.
Lyari’s Better Future Pakistan Football Club won the Boys Under-15 title of the Norway Cup 2025, the Better Future Club’s girls team competed up to A level in the Under-14 event, and the Street Children team from Islamabad played the pre-quarterfinals of the Boys Under-17.
More than 2,000 teams from 30 countries participated in the Norway Cup in events of different age groups held in 90 arenas. Teams from all over the world participate in the tournament organized by the National Council of Norwegian Children and Youth Organizations, an association of more than 100 organizations for the welfare of children and youth in Norway.
It is worth mentioning that the second team from Karachi, Lyari Football Academy, could not participate in the Norway Cup due to delays despite receiving an aid of Rs. 18.3 million from the Sindh government.

He also has the passport of the Muslim Hands footballer.
According to the team management, every effort was made to contact Amanullah Rauf Baloch, who hails from the Lyari area of Karachi, but was unsuccessful.
Earlier, two Punjab University students, Shazal Ahmed and Nadeem Ali, went missing during a sports event at the World University Games in Germany last month.
