Lahore: After the firewall of the army’s DGPR, the Punjab government has announced a new center for monitoring social media. The provincial government has decided to establish an ‘Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center’, for which Rs 13 billion has been allocated. According to government claims, this center will conduct digital profiling with the help of modern technology, identify suspicious people and analyze activities on social media.
