Punjab police jawan involved in kidnapping for ransom revealed

Islamabad: It has been revealed that a Punjab police jawan was involved in kidnapping for ransom.

Sources told Dawn that a citizen named Ghulam Hussain was kidnapped from the I-11/2 area of ​​Islamabad. Islamabad Police took timely action and arrested 8 people involved in the kidnapping.

According to Dawn sources, a police constable is also involved in the kidnapping of the citizen. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 9 million from the abductee’s family. The police took timely action and recovered the abductee, Ghulam Hussain.

Sources said that the gang involved in the kidnapping, including police constable Umair, was arrested from Farash Town.

Police officials said that a successful operation was conducted under the leadership of SHO Fawad Khalid. The police tracked down the accused through technical means.
