Princess Reema wears a Saudi designer outfit to welcome President Trump

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar, wore a special outfit designed by Saudi designer Haneeda Sirafi on the occasion of President Donald Trump’s visit to Riyadh.
The royal blue long abaya was embroidered with exquisite gold embroidery. This embroidery was done evenly on the front and arms of the abaya, while small gold motifs were embroidered on the lower part of the abaya. Princess Reema also wore a blue scarf.

Haneeda Sirafi, founder of the fashion brand ‘Haneeda’, shared a message on Instagram. She wrote, “I am extremely happy and proud that Princess Reema bint Bandar, our esteemed Saudi ambassador to the United States, has emerged as a symbol of strength, progress and leadership. She is one of the first women to break barriers and lead the fight for women’s empowerment.

She added, “It is a special moment to welcome President Trump on his historic visit to Riyadh, wearing a special dress by ‘Haneeda’ for this momentous occasion. I look forward to sharing more about the background behind this design soon.”

Serafi has designed dresses for celebrities in the Middle East and around the world. Celebrities who have worn her designs include Priyanka Chopra, Lupita Nyong’o, and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan.
