Sahiwal: A one-day free medical camp was organized at the Maternity Hospital, hundreds of patients were examined free of charge and medicines were also provided to them. The free medical camp was organized on the instructions of Administrator Silver Jubilee Maternity and Children Hospital/Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal. According to the details, a one-day free medical camp was organized at Silver Jubilee Maternity and Children Hospital in collaboration with a private pharmaceutical company. All types of OPD services were provided free of charge in the medical camp. In the medical camp, Dr. Aamir Aziz, Dr. Aiza Zarar, Dr. Muhammad Aish Naz Tauseef, Dr. Muhammad Asad Nawaz, Dr. Masood Bin Saeed Grewal, Dr. Hafiza Nighat Parveen, Dr. Samira Irshad, Dr. Subia Gul, Dr. Asia Furqani, Dr. Subia Farooq and Dr. Mehran Sabir conducted free check-ups of the patients. In addition to providing free medicines, free ultrasound facilities were also available. A large number of children and women participated in the camp. Speaking in this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal said that such camps will be organized in the future so that the poor people can benefit from it. He said that providing basic health facilities to the people is our top priority. He said that such medical camps will not only provide immediate treatment facilities to the patients but will also help a lot in raising awareness about health.
