London:Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK Dr. Muhammad Faisal organized a ceremony in honor of the Pakistan Super League champion team, Lahore Qalandars, in London.
The ceremony was attended by former caretaker Chief Minister Punjab and Chairman PCB Najam Sethi, senior journalist Jugnu Mohsin, Lahore Qalandars Chief Operating Officer Samin Rana, team captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, Tom Karan, Sam Billings, Pakistan in UK officers and media representatives.
Welcoming the Lahore Qalandars, the High Commissioner said that PSL has played a significant role in the promotion of cricket in Pakistan and has helped in the development of young talent.
He congratulated Lahore Qalandars on becoming the champions of PSL 2025 and expressed his best wishes for the team’s future endeavors.
Former PCB Chairman Najam Sethi appreciated the warm hospitality extended by Dr. Muhammad Faisal and his team. He emphasized that PSL is introducing new talent to Pakistan cricket.
Lahore Qalandars Owner and COO Samin Rana thanked Pakistan in the UK for hosting the team.
