Almere: A unique and influential protest was recorded in the city of Almere, Netherlands, in memory of the innocent martyred children of Gaza, in which thousands of children’s shoes were placed on the street to shake the world’s conscience.

This protest was held to pay tribute to the Palestinian children martyred by Israeli bombing. Citizens, human rights activists and welfare organizations participated in this peaceful demonstration held at the town square.

The scene of the protest was extremely emotional and painful for the spectators, where the shoes of innocent children scattered on the ground appeared to be a question mark on the world’s silence.

This is not the first incident. Last year, during a similar demonstration in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, 8,000 children placed their shoes on the ground to protest Israeli atrocities.

It should be noted that according to the latest UNICEF report, more than 50,000 children have been killed or injured in Gaza since October 7, 2023. In total, more than 56,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 100,000 injured in Israeli attacks.

The United Nations and other international organizations have repeatedly warned that Gaza is currently facing a dangerous humanitarian crisis, including severe drought, water shortages, and medical care shortages.
