Zamora: The famous Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota of the famous British football club Liverpool has died at the age of 28.
According to the news agency Reuters, a horrific traffic accident in Spain caused his death. Along with the footballer, his 26-year-old brother also died in the accident.
According to the police, the accident occurred when his Lamborghini car went out of control near the city of Zamora while speeding, fell off the road and caught fire.
According to initial investigations, the accident occurred when a tire of the car burst while overtaking.
Diogo Jota was 28 years old and had recently married his partner Ruta Cardoso. He also has three children.
While sharing photos from their wedding, Diogo Jota’s wife wrote, “My dream has come true.”
