Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Sahiwal: On Ashura Day, Ashura gatherings were organized and processions were taken out across the country to pay tribute to the great sacrifice of the martyrs of Karbala.
Mourning and chest beating were performed in Ashura processions in various cities of the country, and the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions was mentioned in the gatherings.
