Quetta: The Balochistan government has dismissed a government officer from his post for misuse of government resources.
On Monday, a video surfaced on social media criticizing the use of a government vehicle for sightseeing and entertainment.
The dismissed officer was the project director of Mangi Dam.
Shahid Rind, spokesperson for the Balochistan government, said in a statement that immediate action has been taken after the illegal use of a government vehicle was revealed and the Chief Secretary of Balochistan has removed the said officer from his post.
