A 3-member British team arrived at Islamabad Airport on July 8 for a 3-day aviation inspection

Islamabad: The British Department of Transport team has completed the security inspection process at Islamabad Airport.
According to the ASF spokesperson, a three-member British Transport team conducted a 3-day aviation security inspection and the team arrived at Islamabad International Airport on July 8 for this.
He said that the purpose of the inspection was to review the security arrangements at international standards and ASF ensured all measures during the inspection.
The spokesperson said that the Chief Security Officer and other stakeholders attended the inaugural meeting regarding the security inspection at Islamabad Airport, the DFT team reviewed security deployment, screening and internal controls.
The ASF spokesperson said that the British team also inspected QRF, drone security and emergency preparedness.
According to the spokesperson, the DFT team described Pakistan’s security arrangements as satisfactory and appreciated the efforts of the Airports Security Force.
