Presbyterian Church Gujranwala holds ceremony in honor of seminary graduates, provincial minister for minority affairs distributes certificates

Graduates will prove to be ambassadors of peace, service, and interfaith harmony in society, Dr. Majeed Abel.

Gujranwala: A prestigious ceremony was organized in honor of seminary graduates at the Theological Seminary Campus of the Presbyterian Church, Gujranwala, in which Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora distributed certificates among the graduating students. The purpose of the ceremony was to promote the message of interfaith harmony, religious tolerance, leadership, service and peace. The chairman of the board of directors, Dr. Majeed Abel, presided over the ceremony. He said that along with religious education, social and moral training of the youth is the need of the hour. Graduates will not only serve in churches in the future but will also prove to be ambassadors of peace, service and interfaith harmony in the society.
Provincial Minister Ramesh Singh Arora said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, is taking practical steps for the education, development, religious freedom and representation of minorities. Empowering minorities is our top priority and we want them to play a full role in the development of Pakistan.
He congratulated the graduating students and said that training these youth in social leadership along with religion is a great step. He appreciated the educational and spiritual services of the Presbyterian Church and called the role of churches important in promoting interfaith harmony.

At the end of the ceremony, a collective prayer was offered for all the graduating students, while special prayers were offered for the security, development, interfaith tolerance and brotherhood of the country of Pakistan.
