Thailand: Pakistan has won the title by defeating defending champion Iran in the final of the Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship held here.
After a thrilling match in the final, Pakistan defeated Iran by three sets to two and won the U-16 Volleyball Championship for the first time.
In the final, Pakistan made a great comeback after losing the first two sets 25-21 and 15-10 and won the next three sets 22-25, 21-25, 30-28.
Muhammad Junaid and Faizanullah played an outstanding game for Pakistan and played an important role in the team’s success.
Earlier, Pakistan had qualified for the final by defeating arch-rivals India in the semi-finals of the event.
