Dubai: The Indian Cricket Board has once again started obstructing the holding of Asia Cup, BCCI has threatened to boycott the mega event if the venue of Asian Cricket Council meeting is not changed.
According to Indian media reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has demanded to change the venue of the annual meeting scheduled for July 24 in Bangladesh, BCCI has also threatened to boycott Asia Cup 2025 if the venue is not changed.
According to Indian media, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Oman have also demanded to change the venue of ACC meeting.
Earlier, Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi suggested that board members who objected to the venue join the meeting on Zoom.
It should be noted that the Asian Cricket Council meeting is scheduled for July 24 in Dhaka, while the Asia Cup 2025 is possible in September this year.
