Rome: A unique and bold show of solidarity with the Palestinian people was seen in the Italian Parliament, when members of the Five Star Movement party attended the meeting wearing clothes in the colors of the Palestinian flag.
The party members said, “We are not waving this flag today because you will take it away from us, that is why we have worn it on our bodies.”
It was further said that the Palestinian flag is no longer just the flag of a nation, but has become a symbol of those fighting for humanity, resistance and freedom around the world.
This symbolic move is part of the ongoing global protest against Israeli attacks, which aims to show sympathy for the Palestinian people.
It should be noted that more than 150 Palestinians have been martyred in the last 24 hours in the ongoing Israeli air strikes, 90 of whom were those who were waiting for aid.
