The issues between the two may be resolved by mutual consent; however, the middle-order batsman cannot leave the UK until the investigation is completed

Manchester: There is a possibility of a settlement between Pakistani cricketer Haider Ali and the girl who accused him of rape.

Sources have said that in the case under investigation by Manchester Police, the issues between Pakistani cricketer Haider Ali and the girl who allegedly accused him of rape may be resolved by mutual consent; however, cricketer Haider Ali cannot leave the UK until the case is concluded.

The national cricketer was released on bail after being arrested by Greater Manchester Police on August 4 on charges of alleged rape.

Manchester Police said in a statement on August 8 that they arrested a 24-year-old man after receiving a report of an assault three days ago. The incident allegedly took place at a location in Manchester on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
