Children who once had dreams for Pakistan in their eyes now see only disappointment
Ability has been suppressed in the education system, merit has died out, and employment has become reserved only for those who are recommended

Lahore: Renowned senior actor Noman Ijaz has expressed his deep and bitter opinion on the growing difficulties of the youth on the occasion of Independence Day.
Only a few days are left for Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, but there is also a bitter truth that most of the youth of the country seem disappointed and worried.
Noman Ijaz shared an important message on Instagram on this topic.
The actor wrote that the children who once hoisted the green crescent flag, flags and lights on August 14 had dreams for Pakistan in their eyes, a bright future, a self-reliant nation and a strong homeland in their eyes, but over time, when those children grew up, their dreams were replaced by disappointment, injustice, corruption, poverty and insecurity.
The actor further wrote that competence was suppressed in the education system, merit was buried, and employment became reserved only for those with recommendations.
Due to rising unemployment, economic instability and low salaries in the country, approximately 350,000 Pakistanis have left the country in the first six months of this year.
