London: A major concert will be held to aid Palestine, in which world-renowned artists will participate and convey a message of solidarity.
A major concert in favor of Palestine will be held at Wembley Arena in London on September 17.
Several international and Palestinian artists will perform at this concert, and the proceeds from the concert will be given to charity organizations working in Gaza.
The concert has been named ‘Together for Palestine’ and will be held under the leadership of British musician Brian Eno. It aims to provide food, medical facilities and other aid in Gaza through the British charity organization ‘Choose Love’.
The concert will feature Palestinian musicians Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman and Nay Barghouti, as well as famous British artists Bastille, Kate Burns, Damon Al Barron, James Blake, Mabel and Paloma Faith.
In addition, Rina Sawayama, Pink Panthers and Riz Ahmed will also give small performances, while according to Billboard, the names of more artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
Brian Eno said that artists always point out social injustice and dream of a better future, which is why this concert is so important.
He said that now is the time for everyone to come together and raise their voices for humanity.
The production design of this event is being done by Tony Award-winning stage designer Es Devlin, who will highlight the beauty of Palestinian culture on the stage of Wembley Arena.
Tickets for the concert are available through MyTicket, and all artists will come together to send a message of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
