Sahiwal: Like the whole country, Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm in the Sahiwal branch, organized by Cheezious Sahiwal. Director of Cheezious Pakistan, Wasim Sarwar, cut the Independence Day cake with his staff and children, and Haji Muhammad Sarwar also prayed for the security and development of the country. Shahid, Asghar and Branch Manager Mudassar Iqbal, Maqsood and the entire team were present on the occasion. Wasim Sarwar said that living nations celebrate their Independence Day with enthusiasm. Our Independence Day reminds us of the sacrifices of the Pakistani armed forces and the martyrs of 1947. He also shed light on the unparalleled value and worth of freedom. He paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs and national heroes. Appreciating the role of the Pakistan Army and other security agencies in protecting the country’s defense and integrity, he said that our freedom is due to their sacrifices, determination and courage.
