Sahiwal: Living nations celebrate their Independence Day in a dignified manner. We salute the sacrifices of the Pakistani Armed Forces and the martyrs of 1947. Sukhera Developers Honorees Mian Muhammad Sarwar Sukhera and Mian Muzaffar Khalid Sukhera organized a three-day family festival at their new project, Razzaq Fort in solidarity with the Pakistani Armed Forces on the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day and the victory of the struggle for truth. Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Shahid Mahmood inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon. Malik Qasim Nadeem MPA, Niaz Ahmed Mughal ADCG Sahiwal, Rana Ghulam Dastgir CO District Council Sahiwal, Javed Anwar Gondal DOP Sahiwal, Director Para Force Sahiwal, civil society, business community, lawyers, and people from different walks of life participated with their families. Singer Ali Abbas enlivened the program with national songs. Federal Minister Pirzada Syed Imran Ahmed Shah attended the ceremony along with Malik Muhammad Arshad MPA. Famous Qawwal Khalid Khan entertained the audience with his poetry. On August 14, 2025, the ceremony was inaugurated by the chief guest, Federal Minister Pirzada Syed Imran Ahmed Shah. DPO Sahiwal Rana Tahir Rehman, President Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce, Sheikh Azmat Saleem, President District Bar Council Sahiwal Malik Saeed Ahmed Sagla hoisted the flag on national songs along with civil society. Singers Tariq Tafo, Salim Al Bella, and Goga Pasruri also performed their art on the occasion. Families and children expressed their solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces. Food was served at the best stalls on the food street. Statements by the armed forces chiefs and the exploits of the heroes of the Pakistani armed forces were shown on the screens installed in the venue. A magnificent fireworks display was held at the end of the program. Sukhera Developers expressed their determination to organize such programs for national unity in the future as well.
