Birmingham Cricket Club won the fifth Independence Cup tournament organized by IBPC. Prizes were distributed among the winning teams and players

London: The fifth Independence Cup cricket tournament, organized by IBPC, was played at Valentine Park, Alford Ground. Ten teams participated in this cricket tournament. These matches started at 9 am and ended after the final at 8 pm. This fifth Independence Cup was won by Birmingham Cricket Club.

Trophies were given to both the winning and runner-up teams in the final match. Women players of Pakistan Youth Netball specially participated in this tournament. On this occasion, IBPC Chairman Rizwan Sulehria, General Secretary Asim Yousuf, Aamir Khan, Sheikh Muazzam, Naqash Bhatti, Wasimur Rehman, Zubair Akram, Barrister Imran Panawala, Mian Manzoor, Sajid Khan, Malik Zaki, Wasif Ahmed, Netball Youth Team Captain Haruna, Bilal Awan, Hafiz Tauseef Ahmed, Rizwan Bhatti and others participated. Fireworks were set off at the end.
