Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has admitted her mistake regarding her inappropriate remarks regarding women’s clothing.
A few days ago, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari spoke about women’s clothing in a press conference in which she defended Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and said that ‘those who criticize Maryam Nawaz’s clothing should look into their own pockets, whose own mothers do not consider it appropriate to wear clothes’.
Admitting her mistake on this statement, she said that she is also a woman and can understand the kind of difficulties women face regarding clothing, and I am sorry that such a thing came out of my mouth.
