Islamabad: A fraud was exposed in the court, a friend who appeared in court instead of the proclaimed offender was arrested, and a case was registered.
In the local court of Islamabad, the proclaimed offender presented his friend in his place. The incident occurred in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan, proclaimed offender Bilal Khan, presented a person named Shahid Karim in his place.
The court rejected bail and ordered the friend who appeared in the proclaimed offender’s place to be sent to jail; however, while taking the remand from the court, the accused requested to go to court again, appearing before the court again, the accused confessed that he was not the real accused.
The court ordered the arrest of Shahid Karim, who appeared in place of his friend, upon which the police arrested the accused and registered a case against him. Later, the Lohi Bher police station also arrested the real declared accused. The two friends will remain in jail together.
