Sahiwal: A grand procession was taken out by Jamia Faridiya Sahiwal to celebrate the 1500th birth anniversary of the Lord of the Universe, the Mercy of the Worlds, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). Hundreds of lovers of the Prophet (PBUH) participated in the procession. Dr. Allama Pir Hazrat Maulana Mazhar Farid led the procession. RPO Sahiwal, Commissioner Sahiwal Dr. Asif Tufail, DPO Sahiwal, Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal, as well as a large number of children and adults, participated in the procession. The procession started from Jamia Faridiya Sahiwal and ended at Baldia Ground through its traditional routes. The participants of the procession were carrying banners and flags, and their lips were reciting Durood and Salam. The speakers, while addressing, said that only by following the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet can we achieve success in this world and the hereafter. The life of the Holy Prophet is a beacon of light for us. In celebration of the 1500th birth anniversary of the Lord of the Universe, the Mercy of the Worlds, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), a dignified and spiritual ceremony and Milad Mehfil was organized at Jamia Masjid Ghousia, Farid Town, in which naat khawans and speakers paid tribute to the Holy Prophet. The speakers said on this occasion that following the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet and acting in deed is the true religion of Islam. The life of the Holy Prophet is a beacon of light for us. A 1500-pound cake was also cut in celebration of the 1500th birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet.
