Sahiwal: Acting on the news of Dawn TV UK, Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail summoned CEO Sahiwal Waste Management Company, Iftikhar Ali and MD WASA Tanvir Qaiser Sindhu to the Commissioner’s Office and directed them to inform the public about their respective responsibilities so that facilities are provided to the public at their doorsteps. Yesterday, the most widely published and Newspaper of the Year Award-winning newspaper from the UK, Nawa-i-Waqt London, the English newspaper Daily Dawn and Dawn TV in the UK had published news that WASA Company officers and Waste Management Company officers were shifting their respective responsibilities to each other’s departments, which is very worrying to the citizens. Taking strict notice of this, Sahiwal Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail summoned both officers to his office and directed them to inform the public about the responsibilities of the officers of both departments. On the instructions of Commissioner Sahiwal, both officers were informed about their respective responsibilities in a press conference.
