Peshawar: Following the issue of female students falling ill after vaccination in Punjab, the Education Department has issued guidelines for schools in Peshawar.
DEO Family Sofia Tabassum has clarified that vaccination is not being done in any school in Peshawar at the moment. If any person or team reaches the school for vaccination, headmasters and principals should immediately stop them and report to the concerned authorities.
According to the DEO, reports have been received of people going to some schools for vaccination, so strict instructions have been given that no one should be allowed.
The DEO said that if any vaccination campaign is started in the future, schools will be informed in advance. Currently, no such activity is taking place.
