Muzaffarabad. Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan has announced its separation from the struggle of the People’s Action Committee.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, Dr. Mushtaq Khan, while holding a press conference, said that when the People’s Action Committee started this struggle, a large part of Jamaat-e-Islami was with it. I myself, as the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (Azad Jammu and Kashmir), also addressed their rally in Muzaffarabad.
He said that with the passage of time, when our two major demands were fulfilled, it meant that we understood that our agenda was over, but after that, we saw that some people from your ranks started raising slogans against Pakistan, and you started bringing down the Pakistani flag.
He said that then your strategy regarding the Kashmir freedom movement was less in line with the heroes of our Kashmir freedom struggle, but more in line with our occupying and murderous India.
