Norway: The Norwegian Football Federation has announced that all proceeds from the football match against Israel will be donated to Doctors Without Borders to help the people of Gaza.
According to the report, corporate sponsors have also joined in the effort, announcing a donation of another $350,000.
Several Norwegian football officials and fans have long been critical of Israel’s participation in the World Cup. According to them, the match was an opportunity to further strengthen their position.
