Karachi: Popular film villain and actor, Mustafa Qureshi, of the past, fell into a pothole in Karachi while walking and broke his leg.
Social media pictures of Mustafa Qureshi with bandages on his legs and resting on the bed went viral, and fans prayed for his speedy recovery.
According to media reports, Mustafa Qureshi slipped and fell while walking outside his house in the luxurious Clifton area of Karachi, the capital of Sindh.
The actor said that it is his habit to walk after Fajr prayers, and on October 14, he was walking as usual when suddenly a pothole appeared on the road, and he tripped and slipped and was injured.
According to Mustafa Qureshi, he could not maintain his balance, and he also suffered injuries to his head and other parts of his body due to the fall. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was discharged after being given first aid and a plaster cast on his leg.
Doctors have advised the legendary actor to take complete rest for 6 weeks after he broke his leg due to old age.
Mustafa Qureshi is over 80 years old, and he started acting before the 1970s. He initially started acting on Radio Pakistan, later on Pakistan Television (PTV) and then in films.
Mustafa Qureshi worked in more than 500 Pakistani films. Despite being a Sindhi native speaker, he also did excellent work in Punjabi language films and gained fame from Punjabi films.
The actor has also worked in films and dramas in Sindhi and other local languages, in addition to Punjabi and Urdu. He has been away from the screen for a long time, but he continues to appear in showbiz events and interviews.
