The transfer of judges will be entrusted to the Judicial Commission, and the Chief Justice of the concerned High Courts will also be part of the process.

Islamabad: Details of the proposed draft of the 27th Constitutional Amendment have been revealed. The 27th Constitutional Amendment was approved in the federal cabinet meeting, after which the draft has been presented to the Senate.
According to the details of the draft, the post of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff has been dissolved and the post of Chief of Defence Forces has been created, under which the Army Chief will be the head of all three armed forces.
It is proposed to abolish the post of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee from November 27. The post of Field Marshal will remain for life. The Chief of the Pakistan Army will also be the Chief of Defense Forces; the Army Chief and the Chief of Defense Forces will be appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister.
The Army Chief will appoint the head of the National Strategic Command in consultation with the Prime Minister, and the head of the National Strategic Command will be from the Pakistani Army.
Now, in addition to Field Marshals in the armed forces, senior officers in the Air Force and Navy will also be promoted to the posts of five-star generals. The privileges of Field Marshals will also be for life.
It has also been proposed to entrust the transfer of judges to the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. The Chief Justice of the High Court from which the judge has to transfer and the High Court to which he has to go will also be part of the transfer process.
