Washington: US Secretary of War Pat Hegseth has linked the joint attack on Iran by the US and Israel to Islam. In his first press conference regarding the attack on Iran, the US Secretary of Defense, who was previously referred to as the Secretary of War before Trump, defended Trump’s move.

Pat Hegseth said that crazy ideological regimes like Iran, which are obsessed with Islamic delusions based on predictions, cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. It is a matter of simple common sense. Many people have said this, but it takes courage to actually implement it, and our president has that courage.

The US Secretary of War used the words prophetic Islamist delusions. Which means Islamist concepts based on religious predictions. The English word “prophecy” means prediction, and here the word “prophetic” is used in this context.

This statement by the US Secretary of War has been heavily criticized on social media. People are calling it an insult to Islam.

This incident has also brought back memories of George Bush’s invasion of Afghanistan when Bush initially called the war on terrorism a crusade.
