Manchester: Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Pakistan Consulate General in Manchester. Over 500 guests from all walks of life attended the special gathering, which was inaugurated and hosted by Trade and Investment Attaché Owais Hussain. Afzal Khan MP, Ms. Yasmin Qureshi MP, several councillors, prominent businessmen, men, women and children .attended. A highlight of the day was the personality of the new Consul General, Chaudhry Imtiaz Feroz Gondal, who was given a warm and heartfelt welcome by the community. Consul General of Pakistan Chaudhry Imtiaz Feroz Gondal hoisted the flag to the tune of the national anthem.
