Lahore: Akbari Gate Police have registered a case against a female model and photographer for recording a video inside the premises of Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore.
The FIR was filed by Walled City Lahore Authority (WCLA) official Muhammad Owais, the complaint was filed against model Azbiya Khan and photographer Zain Shah on charges of violating the sanctity of the mosque.
The police took action when the video clip was uploaded on social media.
The WCLA official alleged that the model had recorded the video in ‘inappropriate’ attire and had not even taken permission from the concerned authority for it.
He said the video clip was recorded about four days ago and later uploaded to social media.
He added that it also damaged the reputation of the department and violated the sanctity of the mosque.
