Mohali: Famous Punjabi film actor Jaswinder Singh Bhalla has passed away at the age of 65.
The actor’s family confirmed his death in a hospital in Mohali on Friday morning.
According to the family, Jaswinder Singh Bhalla was brought to the hospital after falling ill, where he died some time later.
Indian political leaders and personalities associated with the film industry have expressed grief over the death of actor Bhalla, who was known for his humor and intelligence in Punjabi films made in Canada, and have expressed their condolences to his family.
Actor Bhalla’s body has been kept at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. And his last rites will be performed in Balungi on Saturday.
Many of his colleagues from the Punjabi film industry are expected to attend the funeral of Jasvendra Singh Bhalla.
