Multan: Major operation by Muzaffarabad Police Station, a dangerous proclaimed offender with a bounty of Rs 1 million wanted in several cases of dacoity and robbery arrested, illegal weapons recovered
During the ongoing crackdown against proclaimed offenders on the instructions of CPO Multan Sadiq Ali Dogar, Muzaffarabad Police Station arrested dangerous proclaimed offender Muhammad Asghar alias Kachala with a bounty of Rs 1 million.
The police received information that the declared accused Asghar alias Kachala was coming to Multan from Balochistan, on which the SHO of Muzaffarabad police station along with his other team arrested the declared accused by setting up a roadblock at Sher Shah Toll Plaza, from which 01 pistol 30 bore along with bullets were also recovered.
The arrested declared accused was identified as Muhammad Asghar alias Kachala son of Ghaus Bakhsh (resident of Ghausia Colony, Mal Phatak, Muzaffarabad, Multan).
Under the supervision of SSP Operations Multan Ahmed Zaneer Cheema, under the leadership of DSP Muzaffarabad Bashir Ahmed Hiraj, the SH of Muzaffarabad police station Muhammad Ramzan along with his other team arrested the dangerous declared accused, who was involved in several dacoities and robberies and was wanted by law enforcement agencies for a long time.
The Muzaffarabad police station arrested the accused under a successful strategy with the help of modern technology and intelligence information.
SSP Operations Multan Ahmed Zaneer Cheema, while holding a press conference along with DSP Muzaffarabad Bashir Ahmed Hiraj and SH Othana Muzaffarabad Muhammad Ramzan, said that indiscriminate action should be taken against the criminal elements. He said that the protection of life and property of the people is the top priority and the police is taking all possible steps for this purpose.
Further investigation is underway against the arrested accused and he will be presented in court soon so that strictest action can be taken as per the law.
