Islamabad: Awami National Party chief and Senator Aimal Wali Khan has moved a privilege motion in the Senate against Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Major General (retd) Hafeez-ur-Rehman, demanding his immediate resignation.
On Wednesday, in the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Less Developed Areas, Chairman PTA used inappropriate words about Aimal Wali Khan, over which Aimal Wali Khan expressed his deep anger.
The PTA Chairman immediately apologized to Aimal Wali Khan during the meeting, however, he made it clear that either he could sit in the meeting or the PTA Chairman, after which the PTA Chairman himself got up and left the meeting.
