Peshawar: In front of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, the People’s Party recorded a protest against the PTI government with the slogan of ‘Save the Province Campaign’, however, the police shelled the protesters when they tried to enter the red zone cantt area during the protest.
As a result of the police shelling with tear gas, the protesting workers dispersed.
The police pushed the PPP workers back from the Assembly Chowk towards Khyber Road, but the angry workers started pelting stones at the police.
During the protest, the PPP workers set on fire the PTI camp set up in the Assembly Chowk while also setting fire to the camp equipment and chairs.
