Toronto: Sikh organizations have demanded the Canadian government not to invite Modi to the G7 summit.
A major demand has emerged from the Canadian Sikh community over the Indian government’s target killings against Sikhs, Canadian Sikh organizations have demanded the government not to invite Modi to the G7 summit.
Canada is hosting the G7 leaders, the meeting includes the presidents of France, Britain, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States and the European Commission.
The Sikh Federation of Toronto is of the view that inviting Modi is not right, he should not be invited unless India cooperates in the criminal investigation in Canada.
The Canadian government has blamed India’s intelligence agency “RAW” for the murder of Hardeep Singh Najjar, human rights issues should be given priority over economic interests.
