London: Britain has recalled its staff from the embassy in Iran, keeping in mind the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

According to foreign media, Britain has temporarily recalled its diplomatic staff from Iran after the war between Iran and Israel intensified.

In addition, charter flights are being arranged for British citizens to leave Tel Aviv.

According to reports, Britain had said earlier this week that it would recall the families of its embassy staff in Israel.

According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, given the current security situation, we have temporarily recalled British staff from Iran as a precautionary measure. Our embassy continues to work remotely.

On the other hand, due to the increasing tension between Iran and Israel, Switzerland announced the temporary closure of its embassy in Iran.

In this regard, the statement issued by the Swiss Foreign Ministry said that given the increasing military operations and the unstable situation, it has decided to temporarily close its embassy in Tehran.

According to the Swiss Foreign Ministry, the embassy staff has returned, and the staff will return to Tehran when the situation normalizes.

It should be noted that yesterday, Australia also suspended its embassy operations in Tehran due to the deteriorating situation in Iran.
