Sahiwal: Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail has said that the Punjab government is implementing a billion-rupee PSAP program to provide better urban facilities to the people of Sahiwal, the completion of which will meet the sewage and drinking water needs of the city for the next 30 years. He said this while addressing a detailed briefing on the PSAP program in his office. In which Additional Commissioner Coordination Dr. Saifullah Bhatti, Director Development and Planning Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, and other relevant officers participated. He directed the early completion of the program and said that the quality of work should be given priority at all times for the long-term benefit of the citizens. He appreciated the completion of 3 parks in the city and the construction of new roads in the city. He directed to complete all projects by September 2025. The work of laying the sewer line in the northern part of the city is 91 percent complete and the work in the southern part is 96 percent complete, while the completion of College Road and Farid Town Road will also be completed by the end of July.
